CHEAL AND MILES WIN TAUHARA CUP In Sunday, July 19, at the Taupo Golf Club's links, the men played for the Tauhara Cup. Laurie Cheal and Jack Miles being the winners with a score of 157-21-136. The next best scores were J. Woodward and C. Vedder, 182-32-150; I. Potts and T. Price, 178-28-150; O. Wright and V. Wilson. 182-27-155; E. Collett and A. Graham, 177-19-156; K. E. Young and D. Woodward, 188-31-157; H. Hullten and E. Ryan, 192-30-162; J. Edwards and S. Columb, 215-48-167. The ladies played a bogey and medal, Mrs Collett reducing her handicap to win with 100-29-71 and one ^ down. Other scores were Miss McKelvie, 98-20-78 and seven down; Mrs K. E. Young, 102-22-80 and seven down; Mrs Ivan Logan, 105-31-74 and eight down; Mrs Colbeck, 97-19-78 and eight down. Tomorrow Thursday, July 30, the ladies will play a bogey and on Sunday, next, August 2, the men will also play a bogey. - M
