subsidy period ending There is now iess than three weeks in which the pound for pound on donations to the Taupo Distriet War Memorial Hall Fun l wiil be avpilable. To qualify for this Government subsidy, funds raised for war memorials must be received by the end of June. There are no douibt many who have not yet made their donations to th,e fund and who will wish to do so. Donations may be handed or posted to Mr A. Kennedy, Secrelary, War Memorial Oommittee, Taupo; or miay be left at the Taupo Times Depot, Mr M. L. Sve nsen^s office, Te Heuheu Street, Taupo; or posted to the Seoretary, Taupo Times, p.o. Box 93, Taupo.
