WEDDING BELLS
Davis — Webber Th© wedding took plaee at A1I Saints' Church, Eltham, on February 7th., of Leah Mary, only daughter of Mir and Mrs F. J. Webber, Mangatoki, and Kenneth Colin, second son of Mr •and Mrs George Davis, of Taupo. The Rev L. M. King was the officiating •minister. The bride wore a gown of ivory slipper satin, the slim-fitting bodice of which Tiad an inset yoke of all-oveir lace. The skirt formed a full circular train with insertions of lace, and her thr.ee-tiered veil was held by a spray of cirange blossom and lilies. She carried a bouquet of cream roses, gladioli and maindenhair fern. The bride's cousin, Mrs Dale Lawrence, of Stratford, was matron-of-honour, and Miss Betty Baikie, of Eltham, was bridesmaid. Mr Robert Davis, of Taupo, attended his ibrother as best man, and Ray Hansen, of Te Puke, was groomsman. At the reception in the Institute Hali some 150 guests assembled. The bride's mother wore an ensemble in ptnk, with grey accessories, while the bridegroom's mother wore a frock of navy silk drepe, with matehing accessories. Mr and Mrs K. C. Davis have taken up residence at Eltham.
