ELECTRICITY REPORT
FIFTY-TWO NEW CONSUMERS Mr J. M. Sherwood,, Electrical Inspector, reported to the monthly meeting of the Town Board on Mav 20, that lifty-two new consumers had been connected to the electric power lines, bringing the total number to one hundred and eighty-one. The second meter-reading showed an increase over the first reading of oue hundred and twentv-two consumers. and 30,714 units sold. During the month, low tension lines had been completed and ulivened up" in Lake Road, Pataka Road, Atiamuri Street, Wheretia Street, and through the Domain to the Police Station. Work was proceeding in Horomatangi, Titiraupenga and Taniwha Streets, and in Henry Hill, Kurupae and Rokino Roads. Serviee lines had been run in Rifle Range Road, Pataka and Lake Roads, and in Atiamuri, Kaimanawa. Tamamutu and Wheretia Streets. In Heuheu Street and Faora Hape Street the original transformers had been replaced with larger ones, the smaller transformers being reerected in Mere Road and Rifle Range Road, and a new transformer had been fitted at the northern end of Kaimanawa Street,
