CORONATION DAY
CEREMONY AT TAUPO The oificial Coronation Ceremony will be held at the Post Office, Tongariro Street, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2nd., subject to the weather being fine. In the event of bad weather, it will take place in RickitJs Hall, ln keeping with the essential character of the Coronation itself, the eelebration will take the form of a short religious service, the order of wrhich will foliow that of the service at Parliament Buildings, Wellington, at which His Excellency the Governor-General will be present. After the smging of the hymn "All Feople that on Earth Do DweH" there will be an introductory address by Mr J. E. Story, Towrn Board Chairman, followed by Scripture readings and prayers, The address will be given by the Rev. C. G. G. Salt. Both "God Defend New Zealand" and the National Anthem will be sung, the service closing writh the Benediction. On behalf of the Town Board the Chairman invites the public to join with citizens of other towns of New Zealand in this expression of loyalty to and regard for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. Invitations are being" sent to the following bodies: — Taupo R.S'.A.; St. John Ambulanee Brigade, Cadets and Nursing Division; Boy Scouts; Giid Guides; Taupo Voiimteer Fire Brigade; "GirPs Life Biigade.
