THE WEEK'S GOLF
Sunday (May 23rd.) was an open day on the Taupo Golf course, no matches being played. On Thursday last a Ladies Stableford was played, with senior and junior playe.rs combined, best scores being Mrs Collett and Mrs Hullten, 38 points; Mrs Kyan and Miss McKelvie, 34; Mrs Oolbeek and Mrs Young', 34. On Sunday next, 17th. May, the men will contmue play for the PresidenFs Trophy. Mr E. A. Southerden will be in attend'ance at the links today, Wednesday 13th., and tomorrow, and members desiring lessons should ring the Secretary, Miss Branson.
