WOMEN'S BOWLING CLUB
At a Committee meeting of the Taupo Women's Bowling Club, held at Mrs B. Armstrong's residence on Wednesday, May 6th., ihe matter of playing for trophies was discussed». It had not been possible bef ore the end of the season to play for a trophy presented by Mr G. M. Crickett, a erystall dish, nor for a trophy consisting of a pair of sheets presented by Mr W. L. Fulljames, owing to weather conditions. It was decidecl that the trophies should be played for early next season. A general meeting of the club is to be called later, at which it is hoped that in-. feilding members, as well as present members, will be present. The new Club has had a most successful first season.
