MAJESTIC THEATRE
The picture for tonight, Wednesday, May 6, at the Majestic, is a long comedy drama featuring Jane Russell and Robert Mitchum, titled "His Kind of Woman." For Friday next there is a double star programme, "A Yank in Korea," starring Lon McCallister, being a drama of the Korean war, which has as its contrasting feature the all-musical western, "Feudin* Rhythm," whose cast is headed by Eddie Arnold. The J. Arthur Rank production "Destination Moon," described as a great entertainment thrill, will be shown at the Majestic on Monday next, May 11, and at Te Rangiita, tomorrow, Thursday, May 7. Dealing with a trip to the moon and back, the picture is a preview of what may happen within ten or fifteen years. "Ma and Pa Kettle at 'the Fair," featuring Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride at their funniest, is to be shown at Taupo on Saturday next, May 9. For Wednesday next, May 13, the Majestic presents "The Cimarron Kid," an exciting, suspense-laden technicolour western. starring beautiful Yvette Dugay and Audie Murphy. Set in the old West, this picture has all the ingredfents of a successful action film.
