Innovation In >Shop Service. — An innovation in shop method in Taupo has been introduced at Morris's Service Store, Rifle Range Road where Mr W. N. Morris has introduced the self service system. All goods are classified and arranged so that they are easily seen and aecessible, goods that are not packaged by the makers are wrapped in conyenient weights or amounts, and all items have price marked. Customers receive a convenient container in which to place purchases, these being check- | ed and priced in the usual way as they leave the store. A deep-freeze has been installed, with open top,

from which customers can take their selection of perishable provisions. The system avoids any waiting by customers even at the busiest peri- ! ods, and has become increasingly 1 popular in many places. Telephoned an^ delivery orders will be taken as hitherto.
