Association Execiitive Meets A meeting of the Execiitive of the Waitahanui Angling Improvement Association was held at the Lodge, Waitahanui on Saturday, April 21, when a good attendance was registered. Advice was received from the Conservator of Wild Iife at Rotorua of it having been decided to hold the 1953 Conference at Turangi on June 25 at 9.30 a.mu As this date was not consistent with the suggestion made by the Association it was resolved to again approach the Depairtment asking that this 'Conference be held on a Saturday. Coa'respondence from the N.Z. Surf Life Saving Association indicated the possibility of establishing a mobile life saving reel and line at the rivev mouth at Waitahanui.
