ANZAC DAY SERVICE
PARADE ARRANGEMENTS The Anzac Day Service to be held under the auspices of the Taupo R.S.A. will take place at the Majestic Theatre at 11 a.m. The chair will be taken by Col. J. D. Swan, O.B.E., President of the R.S.A., an4 t!he principal speaker will be Captain J. G. Hillard, D.S.C., V.R.D., R.N.Z.N.V.R. Rev. C. G. G. Salt and the Rev. W. H. Nicholas will take part in the service* The parade will fall in at the Posfc Office at 10.45 a.m. and will march to the Majestic Theatre led by the returned servieemen. All returned [ men of all wars are cordially invited to take part. Mufti will be worn, with medals and poppies. Invitations to take part in the parade have been extended to the Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, St. John Ambulance Brigade, Crusaders Marching team, and the Taupo School children from Standard 3 upward. The R.S.A. Executive hope that there will be good attendance of servieemen and also that the general public will welcome the privilege of joining in this service of remembrance.
