BUSINESSMEN'S ASSOCIATION
MEETING OF COMMITTEE The Monthly Committee Meeting of the Taupo Businessmen's Association was held in Rickit's Hall on April 13th. The swings in the Children *s Playground were discussed and parenfs will be glad to know that they will soon be in eommission. A letter from the Town Board granting a site for a tourist notiee board, and lighting for the same, was read with much pleasure. The Committee discussed the desirability of arrangmg for eommunity street lighting of a uniform nature for shops, when the power supply allowed this development, and iit was decided to take this matter up at the appropriate tkne.
