1YZ TO BROADCAST
Mr J. M. Sherwood, Electrical Ihspeetor, in his report to the Town Board's monthly meeting, suggested that where practicable Sunday shut--downs of power from the Hatepe Hydro Station should be broadcast from the Rotorua Station 1YZ. The Acting-Town Clerk r^jad eofespondence with the manager of Station 1YZ, in which the co-operation of the Broadcast ing Service in announcing shut-downs from the Station was oftered, and a reslution was passed . that arrangements be made for the | station to broadcast such announce- ( rnents when necessary, if posisible at 8«10 a;m. and! . 12.25 p.m., and that an advertisement notifying the pubtic of this, arrangement be inserted m the Taupo Times.
