Mr and Mrs H. 0. Barker, of Gien Eden, Auckland, spent some days in Taupo last week. lVIr Barker wasPostmaster in Taupo for several years ih the early 'twenties, and recalled vividly the series of severe earthquakes experienced in Taupo during the latter half of 1922.
