OHAMPIONSHIP PAIRS RESULTS The first two rounds in the Championship Pairs competition for the Peacoeke Cup, played hy the Taupo Women's Bowling Club, resulted as follows. First Life: — Mrs N. East and Miss Leonie Manning defe^tecf Mrs Calkin and Mrs Fletcher; Mns Peacoeke and Mrs H. Gradwell dafeated Mrs Pearce and, Mrs Andeiscn; Mrs McMillan and Miss -.J* Smith defeated Mrs W. G. Morris and Mrs Anderson; Mrs Stanley and Mrs Fletcher defeated Mrs Lough and M«rs Bert Harnett; Mrs Stanley and Mrs Fletcher defeated Mrs Harlan and Mrs B. Armstrong. Second Life: — Mrs Lough and Mrs B. Harnett defeated Mrs W. G. Morris and Mrs Anderson; Mrs Stanley and Mrs Grey defeated Mrs Calkin and Mrs Fletcher; Mrs McMillan and Miss J. Smith defeated Mrs Pearce and Mrs Andersn ; Mrs Peacoeke and Mrs H. Gradwell defeated Mrs Karlan and Mrs B. Armstrong.
