Atomic Engineer in Taupo.

Mr A. B. White, head of the Chemical Engineering Division of the Barwell Atomic Energy Research Establishment, was in Taupo for two days last week, staying at Onslow House. In conversation with the Hines Mr White said that in company with officers of the Department of Scientific and Idustrial Research, and the Ministry of Works, he had visited the Wairakei Geothermal Steam project, and also the rnajor hydro-electric works while in the country. ★
