GEOTHERMAL HOUSING
MORE .TO BE BUILT At the present time some thirty houses have been built for the Ministry of Works Geothermai Steam Project at the Huka Street settlement, which lies north of the Spa Road. These houses, all of which are f oc married men employed on the Project, are part of a ioi oi iorty houses authorised some time ago, and it is probable that this number will later be doubled, the increase also to be for married men's quarters. In additlon, ariother six houses, for staff accommodation, are to be built elsewhere in ihe town area, and these will be somewhat larger.
