START OF FXNAL EFFORT Following the puolic meeting reported in our last number, at which the War Memoria! Ha 11 Association reported an amount raised of £1,952 5/8, and at which a new Committee was formed to endeavour to raise the further sum required, it has been arranged by the Committee that a dance in aid of the funds will be held in Rickit's Hall on Saturday next, April 4th., at 8 p.m. A meeting of the Committee is to be held tonigbt, Wednesday, April lst. The Chairman, Mr J. D. Swan, advises that he bas received a donation for the fund, the first since the formation of the new committee for what may be termed the final effort, and the Times will now publish a list to record the progress of this etlort.
