TO VISIT HAMILTON The Taupo Girl Guides' marching team is to visit Hamilton on Satur- | day next when a Waikato Provincial Ai ea Rally is to be held. The Rally is a prelude to the Guide Exhibition Week in Wellington in May. Mrs Feart, Captain of the local Company, aflvises that the Taupo Company is | 'thte only one, out of forty taking I part in the Hamilton Rally, planning | uo put on marching" and dancing dis- ! plays. Keren Reid is the leader «of j the marching team and is doing* a f'ine job. A special bus has been arranged to take the'Cuicles to Hamil- | ton and back on the Saturday. Dur- ! mg the past fortnight some £22 has oeen raised toward expenses of the Hamilton and Wellington visits, The Company wishes to acknowledge donations received from Mr Kellett (Taupo View Road ) , Mrs Brian Wilson and family, Mrs Waterhouse and frifends, and an anonymous friend. Dcnations toward the two trips mentioiied wi.ll be gladly received by Mrs Peart wrho is sure the girls will do credit to Taupo.
