TAUPO DRAMATIC SOCIETY
WINTER PROGRAMME Tonight (Wednesday) the Taupo Dramatic Society will open its winter season with a social evening and invites all mterested in the theatre to attend what promises to be an enjoyable evening. The programme will consist of two or three small sketches, musical items, supper and dancing. Residents, particularly those with holiday places only, will welcome the news that the subscription has been reduced to 15/- for the remainder of the year. The Society is keen to increase its membership in order to finish the year in a strong posltion. RickiLs Hall has been booked for the second and fourth Wednesday evendngs of each rnonth tbroughout the winter, when members will be able to enjoy and take part in readings and playlets ! staged by the Society. The Committee has been ibspired to greater efforts to foster dramatic art m Taupo by the success which attended the summer performances of "Blithe Spirit."
