LOCAL BOYS GO TO CAMP
HAURAKI REGT. AT TIHOI On Tuesday of last week a number of local boys left Taupo at 2 p.m, for their fortnight's annual campwitli the 1st. Battalion Hauraki Regiment. The party assembled at ib& Post Office where they were embarked on a military truck proceeding tu Tihoi via Wairakei and Mokai. Those in the party were: — C. R. Hatherly, 2nd. Lt., (Iwitahi), Denis Raureka, Michael Orr, Pat McNicholaJs, Jim Booth, Tom Loughlin, Sonny Kahia., Brian Armstrong, E. Hooker, Trevor Capon.
