TURANGI-TOKAANU ANGLING

FISH START TO RUN (CorrespoiSdent) Friday, Feb. 19. Fishing continues to improve and the Delta has given excellent results m the last few days. Among a number of limits taken was a good nine pound rainbow. A lot of fish are reported at the Kuratau and though day fishing has not been good, night and early morning have given good results. The Whareroa and Amori are likewise improving, with the \vaiotaka and Waimarino fishing Very well night and morning though difficult in t'he day. A sma.ll run has been taking place m the Tongariro, a few fresh run fish having been taken Vas far up as Ihe Dreadnotight, and a few fish are being taken in t'he T auranga-Taupo. Generally, conditions are greatly improved with small runs likely at any Hme.
