TOKAANU FIRE BRIGADE
XOTES OF MEETING Mr B. (Sutherland, Superintendent, presided over a meeting of the Tokaanu Volunteer Fire Brigade on January 13th. Present: — Messrs F. Hill, H. Gee, M. Ghibba, I. A. Nisbit, D. R. Mullins, A. Withington, T. Maricich, P. Demrpsey and B. F. Edkins (Secretary). Routine correspondence was dealt with after which a discussion was held on Fire Warrant, a number of unnecessary fires having been lit in the Brigade's area. It was decided that in future every fire was to be reported in writing to the Fire Officer. A report from the Foreman stated that all machines were in good working order.
