TAUPO TOWN BOARD CLOSURE OF ROAD TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC Puirsuant to the Transport Vehicular Traffic Road Closure Regulattions 1949, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of enabling the Taupo War Meuiorial Hall • Association to hold a Speed Boat Regatta on Lake Taupb : to raise f unds for the erection of the Memorial Hall the TaupoNational Park Highway Adjacent to Lake Taupo will be closed to Ordinary Vehicular Traffic for the periods indicated hereunder. During the periods of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the highway. Period of closure: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, December 26th, 1952. Alternative provision for ordinary vehicular traffic will be Roberts Street, Kaimanawa Road to Highway. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any j person otherwise than under authority of an authorised j)ermit to use the portion of Highway refeired to for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure. They will be sold for cash or on deferred payment. Postal bids will be accepted for one or more sections. Persons may purchase only one section and owners of sections near lakes in the Rotorua or Taupo districts will not be eligible to purchase.
