PENALTY ON RATES— 1952-53 PURSUANT to Section 76 of the Rating Act,» 1925, notice is hereby given that a PENALTY of Ten (10) per centum will be added to all Rates for the year 1952-53 unpaid at the expiration of six months and fourteen days from the date of demand thereof. Last day to avoid the Penalty is February 16, 1953. DOG REGISTRATION PURSUANT TO THE Dog Registration Act, 1908, and Amendments notice is hereby given that the Registration Fees for the year 1953 have been fixed as follows: Dogs kept solely for the purpose of herding or driving sheep or cattle (not exceeding 3), 2/6 each dog. All other dogs, 10/- each dog. PLUS !/- (one shilling) in each case for Hydatids Tablets. Such fees to be payable to the Dog Registrar, Mr W. Wineera, or at the Office of the Town Board. IMPOUNDING PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that any person interfering with the Board's Poundkeeper in the execution of his duties will be immediately prosecuted and that any person offending under the Impounding Act, 1908, by allowing horses to wander on the roads and when such horse or horses have been impounded once, prosecution will follow on the seeond offence.
