TWO LICENSES GRANTED The following report to the "New Zealand Herald,, from its own correspondent in Hamilton, dated Thursi day, December 4th., last, is reprinted as a matter of interest to Taupo: A licence to operate non-scheduled passenger and freight services between the Chateau Tongariro and any other licensed aerodrome in New Zealand was granted to James Aviation, Ltd., at a sitting of the Air Services licensing Authority at Hamilton. The service wi.ll include ambulance amenities. A similar application to operate from Taupo was granted the same company. An application by Messrs W. E. Christopherson and J. C. Worthington to operate non-scheduled charter passenger and freight services between Te Kuiti, Waharoa, Raglan, Thames, Hamilton and Taupo, with bases at Te Kuiti and Waharoa, was granted, with the provision that the Waikato Aero Club s'hould have the first right of refusal to passengers.
