ORGANISERS NOTES RAFFLES. — These are nowr out in all the shops — 1 .—The Butchers' in Price's and Smith's. 2. — The Storekeepers' in Casson's, Four-Square, Haines, KiL fords, Russell's, and the Taupo Stores. The total value of Groceries to be drawn in these six raffles is £42. 3. — Christmas Present Raffle Tickets are on sale in all the other shop4. The following are some of the prizes to be won: An electric kettle, a a pressure cooker, a manicure set, a housecoat, and 11 other useful presents. REMEMBER all the above will be drawn on December 20 th. in plenty of time for Christmas. PLEASE NOTE that as from Wednesday, December 3rd., the Memorial Hall Association and Camival Ofhce will be open every week day, except, Tuesday, in the Bank of New South Wales Premises. BABY SHOW : There will be an entrance fee for this of 1/- and all mothers who desire to enter their babies are asked to send in their names to the €arnival Office. 1st., 2nd., and 3rd. prizes will be awarded on a popular vote basis. Votes 3d. each.

WOMEN'S INCTITUTE RUMMAGE SALE ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11TH. at RickiUs Hall. — Here is an opportunity to get rid of all your surplus things that are cluttering up your homes. Anything such as pots, pans, china, furniture, clothing, boots and shoes — anything at all of this nature will be gratefully received. Small parcels we would ask you to deliver to Rickit's Hall on December 10th. and large or bulky things we will be pleased to collect on Wednesday afternoon, December lOtb. All residents who have goods to be picked up please advise the Organiser, P. O. Box 3. TAUPO.
