MAJESTIC THEATRE
MYSTERY, WESTERN, •& DRAMA Mystery, Western action, and drama are the main ingredients of the film advertised for screening at the Majestic Theatre in Taupo this week. For tonight (Wednesday), there is scheduled a regular mystery thriller featuring Ricardo Montalban and Sally Forrest. This "actionpackedu« MjGjM. production is appropriately entitled "Mystery Street."
Friday's programme is a doublefeature attraction. Bracketed as the star items are "Stage Coach Kid," and R.K.O. Western film, with Tim Holt, Richard Martin and Carol Hughes — the latter the sole girl in a cast of ten — the other nine being of the tough he-men variety; and its companion picture ^The Peterville Diamond," with Anne Crawford, and Donald Stewart as the leads. The background of the story is the "Swell-mobsman" — in other words, the gentlemen criminal — and his methods. This is a Paramount Film. For Saturday there is the romantic drama "The Heiress," starring Olivia De Haviland and Montgomery Clift, in which a controversial motif supplies the key-note. "The Heiress" is also scheduled for screening at Te Rangi-ita on Thursday.
