MAJESTIC THEATRE

BIG FEATURE: "SCOTT OF THE ANTARCTIC" Robert Young and Betsy Drake are the stars of the United Artist's production Ellen,,, to be presented at the Majestic Theatre tonight (Wednesday). "Ellen" is a psychological mystery thriller, with a car fatality, a murder motive, and ro_ mance as the ingredients of the people. Friday's feature is another thriller. "Vendetta", is a Howard Hughes production starring F'aith Domergue. There the audience is introducdd to the atmosphepe of Gorsican ¥riends and incidental violence. The motive of this screen drarna is to emphasise the futility of the ^endetta code and tjlie arguements for abolishing it. The play is riehly entranced with music from "Boherne" and 4La Tisca." Others in the cast are George Dolenz and Hillary Brooke. The Royal Command film "Scott of the Antaretie" is the big feature for Saturday, a technicolour production from British Empire Films in London. The star is John Mills, and the story of Captain Scotts famous ill-fated expedition to the Antarctic has been adapted with realistic fidelity to the high-lights of that great adventure. "Scott of the Antarctic" will also be shown at Te Rangi-ita on Thursday.
