"BEAUTY AND THE BEAST"
COMING C.A.S. STAGE FANTASY Stuart GrayJs adaptation of the falry tale, "Beauty and the Beast," to be presented m Taupo under the auspices of the Community Arts Secmcc on Wedaesday, # Novembe* 13th.. at 7.45 p.m., should be a snorg attraction for the public. Ihe play is not a pantomine. Rather is it a fantasy of the kind that has made Barrie's "Peter Pan" so famous as entertainment for both young* and old. For the performance in Taupo the producer will be Margaret Simmons, Stage Manager, Kenneth Ling, and the musical director, Roderick Horn, with the following artists in the cast: — Barry Linehan, Thomas Kneebone, Kenneth Akerman, Noeline Pritchard, Cecily Salmon, Eleanor Eliot, and Ray Donaldson. Members, preferential booking closed on Friday last. Open -bookings will be available from Monday, November 11th.
