LAUNCH EXTENSION ON THE LAKE

GOOD NEIGHBOUR GESTURE BY LAUNCHMEN The Taupo Launchmen's Association, as a good neighbour gesture, have arranged a launch excursion on the Lake on Sunday October 26th. as a benefit for Mr and Mrs P. W. Arnold to mark their sympathy with them in their recent heavy loss by fire. Tickets, at 10/ - each for the outing, may be purchased at Mr MerFyn Svenson's office or the Taupo Milk Bar, opposite the Post Office. The launches will leave the Taupo Wharf at 10 a.m. and hot water will be provided for the excursionists. Intending trippers are requested to book early, ★ THANKS We wish to thank one and all who so kindly gave assistance when our factory was destroyed by fire last week; also to the men who's uhtiring efforts saved our house from the same fate.
