THE TAUPO TIMES
CHANGE OF OFFICE We wish to draw our readers attention to the fact that as from: today, (Wednesday, October 1st.) I the receiving depot.of the Taupo j Times will be transfered to the j office of Mr M. L. Svensen, Heuheu Street, some 50 yards from the Main Street and about 1G0 yards from the P.O. Office hours will be from 9 atm. to 1 p.nt. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on v/eek days, exeept Thursdays. The readers and advertisers will still be able to receive as efficient service as they havef enjoyed in the past nine months from Miss D. M. Cohen and Miss K. O. Lewis, at the Taupo Book ciuy. The Times wishes to pay tribute to the valuable work these two ladies have performed since its establishment. At some considerable inconvenience to themselves Misses Lewis and Cohen agreed to their office being used temporarily as the Town Depot of receiving subscriptions and advertisemcnts and they have played their part well in the co-ordma-tion of the various departments of the newspaper activities. Thev have now asked to be re~ lieved of these duties and while we regret their decision we feel sure that our readers will be well . se^ve! by Mr Svensen who is mosc inte^ested in the paper and has its welfare at heart.
