GIRLS' MARCHING DISPLAY—A CORRECTION

Sir, My attention has been drawn to an advertisement which appears in in the issue of your paper dated September 17th. stating that Mr McMillan of the above centre had vindertaken to bring Marching teams and a Pipe Band to Taupo on Sunoay, September 28th. for the pur-* pcse of giving* a display. Through your good office I wisb to jcorrect this. At no time did Mr MclMillan or any member of the executive promise to bring a Pine Band to Taupo. 1 would not wish the good people Oj Taupo to attend the Demonstration by these girls and be disap pomted in not seeing and hearingw a Pipe Band. We would naturally e hlamed. We will be bringing a recording system and the girls will be marching to Pipe Music, re~ produced over this system. I am, etc.*
