TAUPO'S QUINQUIENNIAL VALUATION

During Jbhe past month, Mr C. Harris, District Valuer from Rotorua with three members of his staff, have been oceupied in Taupo for three days of each week carrying out the five-yearly re-valuation of real estate property. In general the value of improvemen^s to houses in the district have almost doubled in respect of most developed property. In the four weeks of valuing good progress has been made, and particulars have been noted of over half of the 1,700 properties under review. The roll will be completed and in the hands of the Town Board early in January.
