GEO-THERMAL STEAM
The Wairakei Project Mr J. N. Turnbull, who has been Engineer-in-Oharge of the Wairakei Geo-Thermal Experimental Steam Project, left last week for his new assignment in the State Hydro-Elec-tricity designs* office at headquarters in Wellington. He has been succeeded by Mr A. C. L. Fookes, who has been stationed at the Roxburgh hydro scheme, and is | due here shortly. Assocjgted with j him as deputy-chief engineer at Wairakei is Mr H. M. Neville, who is now on the job. Drilling operations will continue under the the supervision of Mr R, McMdlan (Drilling Superintendent of j Ithe Mines Department). ) .. .. »■
