THIS WEEKS) FE1ATI3RBS Programmed for the .. iMajestic Theatre, Taupo this week is an attractive variety of features. Tonight (Wednesday), there is a mansized rugged drama "Big Timber/' with a logging camp as the setting for the play of human passions. For Friday there is a double feature — Johnny Weissmuller, as Jungle Jim in "Captive Girl," a romance built upon the mystery surround the legend of a leopard woman whe, inspires terror in a native village; and, as a companion picture Charles Starrett in ^Loramie," a Westem. The Saturday f ea ture is a Columbia technicolour "Jolson Slngs Again," with ' Larry Parks and Barbara Hale, and described as worthy successor to "The Jolson Story." This is a feast of coloi^r and song hits. 'Jolson Sings Again" is to ]>e screened also at Te Rangi-ita on Thursday. For Wednesday of next week there is scheduled for exhibition "The Damned Don?t Cry," a drama of big time gambling with Joan Orawford in the star" role.
