ST. JOSEPH'S O.G. ASSOCIATION On July 6th. "Pukawa Branch" of S. J. O. G. association was formed at Hopkin's Mill, National Park. Officers elected: — Patron, St. Joseph's; Spiritual Director, Fat'her Aarts; Chairlady, Mrs Hihiria Amorangi; Secretary, Mr B. Amorangi jnr.; Assistant and Reporting Secretary, Mrs M. Moana; Treasurer, Mrs Hihiria Amcrangi and Mr B. Amorangi jnr.; Committee: Mrs Pou Mariu, Mr M. Kapu, Mrs B. Amorangi jnr.; Members: Mesdames J. Hepu, Miss B. and W. Amorangi, J. and C. Moana, J. Gillies, P. Mariu, J. Derby, Messrs N. R. Moana, J. and Moana, R. and L. Pou Mariu, D. and M. Moana. Since the formation of the Pukawa I Branch two very successful euchre evenings have been held at Hopkin's Mill for the aims of v/-e Associat'on. Prizes* were donated by theh Moana and Amorangi families and Mr Kapu. Winners: — First Evening: Gents Euchre, Mr Pat Hepu; Ladies eudire: Mrs Amorangi snr.; Boobies: Mrs Pou Mariu, Mr B. Amorangi Snr.; Games: H. Derby; raifle: Mrs Amorangi snr. Second Evening: Gents euchre, Mr Kapu; Ladies euchre, Mrs L. Duff; Chocolate Raffle: John Hepi. Lake Timber Mill supporters will be hosts for the following two weeks at Lake Timber Mill. All are cordially invited to participate in these enjoyable evenings.
