Each girl has been provided with a Seeorid Class Book, and some are making good progress. There are in training nine recruits who are forging ahead with their Tenderfoot Tests, and looking forw^rd to their formal enrolment. All have been rtieasiired for uniforms, and Captain Peart would be pleased to hear of anyone willing to help with the sewing. ;The , prarchi ng teams," eontinues the report, "are progressing smartly. The girls love the Folk Daneing and are beginning to realise that Camp Fire Songs are not only pretty bnt embrace many of the Guide "Laws, and an important factor in the coming camp ceremony. Through the generosity of a few well-wish-ers I have been able to promise that some of my Guides will be able to attend training camp, subject to the Comini&iioner's Approval. ' "All . ihe Guides, especially the leaders, have been told that I am available to them at any time should they need advice or help in their work and they are always welcome, 'to. any home. Quite a few have taken advantage of this offer and are alrways welcome to my home. Quite a few have taken advantage of this pff&r and are taking Semaphore and other tests at the house. 'T am pleased to report that we are in a position to return the £5 kmdly lent by the local association to start the company — most of the money has come out of the girls5 subs. A children's Cantata is now to hand, and the girls will be working on that during the coming ■months,,,

The, report concludes with thanks to the three Lieutenants, and to Mrs Redwood for her help with the music.
