Following upon the success which attended the experimental steam b^re at the Spa Hotel, Messrs Sinclair & Yates, well drillers, have just completed driliing operations for two additional steam bores. The first drill was put down to 278 feet as compared with the 150 odd feet of the first bore, with the idea of getting greater pi'essure. The new office will come under the ccntrol of the D'strict Manager at Rotorua, Mr E. Millar. * * * The Vacuum Oil Company will be screening a talkie programme of films relating to the operations of the Oil Inclustry, at Rickit's Hall this evening. These films depict various sides, of the inductry, including the senrch for oil, driliing ?nd refining. Th© programme also includes special featurettes, newsreels, etc.
