PUBLIC OPINION

the diggers' reunion (To The Editor) Sir, — • I would be grateful if you would insert this in your eolumns under the' heading, "Wot? No Sucking Pig?" In your report of the 1914-18 War Diggers Dinner an unfortunate omission was the fact that the sucking pig so greatly enjoyed by the lads for supper was generously de~ nated by Mr Bert Book. Bcrt was unable owing to a sudden illness to attend, as also were R. Katene and T. Paul. However, each of them put their 12/6 in the centre. So thanks Bert, Lager and Tauri for your contribution but no sick parade next time. — I am, ete.,

h.

KEEN.
