RjS.A. initiates next move * The R.S.A. at the monthly executive committee meeting adopted their president (Colonel, J. D. Swan's) slogan of "Open the Hall by Christmas." With this slogan in view and witb the knowledge of the Town Board, The Ratepayers' Association and the Businessmen's Association, a resolution was moved and carried: That the R.S.A. should convene a meeting first of all clubs, societies, and organisations in Taupo, asking each to send at least two delegates to an inaugural meeting to discuss ways and means of raising the additional money required to complete the Mtmorial Hall, and to produce a tentative scheme. Following this a public meeting is to be called to piace before the presidents the out line of the scheme for the raising of the money, for their further suggestions, approval, and co-operation. The meeting of delegates of all organisations to be held in Rickits Hall on Thursday, July 24 at 8 p.m. Receipts to Date.
The times will be pleased to receive, and acknowledge in these eolumns, further donations to the Fund. [Nbte: — The Times regrets that an error for which the printer was in no way responsible, made it appear that the total subscriptions to date amounted to £15 10/- instead of £25 10/-.] \
