The above picture presents another view cf the work now being done for the extension of the Taupo Wharf down stream. In the background is the present wharf, sheltered by the pines. Midway from the wharf along the river bank to the foreground there is a bluff, screened by trees in the middle distance, from which the spoil is being taken for filling in the breastwork along the line of piles shown in the picture last week. Up in front is part of the new road, the formation of which will be eventually be carried as far as the new domain area for campers.
