WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

Despite the cold and showery weather the Taupo Women's Instifute Gardening Circle .met at the home of Mrs J. E. Young, Williams JStreet on Thursday, June 26, where Jjetween showers, Mr Davies, of Tomamutu Street, gave a very interesting and instructive demonstrafion of pruning fruit trees, also 3 different methods of grafting. Mrs Young served afternoon tea /which was enjoyed before a lovely fire. The convener (Mrs King), and members thanked Mrs Young and Mr Davies for their help and co~operation with the gardening circle. * * *
