TAUPO GOLF CLUB

Twelve players visited the Rotorua Golf Club on Sunday, June 8, to play the annual friendly match against the Rotorua team. The Taupo team did not reeord many wins, but considering the bad weather and many hazards of the course, did not disgrace themselves. The results of the morning fourball (Rotorua players mentioned first) were as follows: — Cairns and Hill beat Graham and Rameka. Bould and Wright beat Falkner and Wilson. Burd and Byrne halved with Smith ; and Miles. IMcAllen and Torlesse beat Brown and Cheal. t Comer and Shorter beat Collett and Woodward. Thomas and Edwards lost to Price and Potts.
