TAUPO-TURANGI ROAD WORKS

MOTOR DRIVERS WARNED W ork has commenced on the reconstruction of the unsealed portion of flatepe Hill and the Bluff section just past Hallett's Bay. The contractors for the work (Messrs Taylor and Cully Ltd., of Hamilton), advise that about 60,000 yards of earth will be moved. During the period of this work motor drivers should proceed carefully at diminished speed.
