Sir, — I must compliment "War Widow" on the excellent sentiments expressed in her letter and hope that where she has led, others will follow. This Hall, so long awaited is now urgently necessary, and although I am not a returned soldier myself, I am willing to do all I can to further the erection of this hall. Is "War Widow" to prove a lone voice crying in the wilderness/or are there other public spirited persons willing to help in a project, which, although for the R.S.A. would reflect credit on the people of Taupo and prove that those brave souls who raised the money aid not strive in vain. I am, etc.,
