TE AUTE AND ROTORUA It may be of interest to fdotball enthusiasts to know, tihat the Te Aute 1st. XV and 2nd. XV football teams, are both, playing against the Rotorua High School 1st. XV and 2nd. XV at Rotorua, during the Winter holidays. Previously, Te Aute College has been sending their 2nd. XV to meet the Rotorua High School 1st. XV and always met with defeat, the 1st. XV having always had to play for the Moasear Cup else where. Huriwaha Maniapoto, acting-head prefect of the College, captains the lst. XV and Leo Panapa, son of Bishop Panapa captains the 2nd. XV. Incidentally Huriwaha has been in the lst. XV for 5 years. This match is eagerly awaited by the Rotorua iSporting Community. During these friendly matches the visiting Te Aute boys are billeted in private homes.
