A ONE-MAN HELICOPTER, developed by the United States Navy, was shown recently in Washington, D.C. It was demonstrated by U.S. Marine Corps (Sergieant Daniel Murphy of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Oalled tihe "Hioppi-Cop-ter," this new machine can carry a fully armed man for short, distances and ' can land i«m oii nearly any spot ne chooses. The "Hoppie-Copter" is still experimental and is undei going further tests along* v/ifh other new troop-carry-ing devices.
