"WASHED OUT"
TAUPO V. PUTARURU MATCH
The Taupo ericket team journeyed to (Putaruru on Sunday last with the intention of defeating the men of that district. Unfortunately rain intervened, and the match was washed out. The Taupo team, accepting the wet conditions as an augury, accordingly went to the baths at Matamata, completing the "washing" operation.
