Sir, — May one use your paper to ask why is it that the local pieture theatre proprietor so often misleads his public. Usually on Saturday evenings, the following weeks' programme is announced for the respective ni#rtsi Then when oue goes along to see a reasonably good pieture it is to find that the programmes have been switched over and an inferior pieture is shown. We have an excellent paper in the Taupo . Times which the proprietor of the pictures could make use of to advertise his programmes, or better still if there is to be an alteration in the same, to notify his public of his intentions. Before concluding I would like to say that I am sure if the public could be assured of a really good pieture being shown the thearte would be filled to capacity. — I am, etc.,
